Terms & Conditions

1. The game

Escena is a free, browser-based guessing game: a still from a movie, series, cartoon, or anime is shown and you try to name the title. There are no timers, no accounts, and no purchases.

2. Fair play

3 lives per round; each distinct wrong answer costs one life (repeating the same wrong answer is free).
Up to 3 extra stills of the same work per round.
One daily challenge of 5 works per day (Mexico City time). Once played, a new one unlocks the next day.
Answers are accepted in English and Spanish, ignoring accents and punctuation.

3. Content & attribution

Titles, artwork, and stills belong to their respective rights holders. Scene images are provided by TMDB under its terms of use; Escena is a non-commercial fan project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TMDB, the studios, or JustWatch.

4. Availability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may change or become unavailable at any time without notice.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Escena and its developers are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the latest version is always on this page.
